After manga artist Kentaro Miura passed away in 2021, the future of his epic dark fantasy series Berserk looked uncertain. Fortunately, publisher Hakusensha and Miura’s lifelong friend Kouji Mori announced that Berserk would continue, and the first trade English paperback from Dark Horse Manga is now available to preorder. While it won’t be out for a while, you can get Berserk Volume 42 for $15 at Amazon ahead of its March 2025 release.

But the latest update for Insomniac’s Spider-Man 2 includes a detail that few superhero devotees would have even noticed. The one thing that’s certain about the future of Ian Fleming’s iconic spy is that James Bond will return… it’s just anyone’s guess as to when. It’s been three years since Daniel Craig’s final film appearance as Bond, and an actor has yet been selected to take his place. Now, a new report is shedding some light on where things stand with the Bond franchise.As reported by The Telegraph, Eon Productions–the company that produces the Bond films–has brought in a few potential directors for “a first round of speed dates” to get a feel for their take on 007. At D23, Disney showed off the first look at Tron: Ares, the next chapter in the franchise. While those clips haven’t been released online yet, Jared Leto, the star of the movie, has shared video of his recent trip to Walt Disney World’s Magic Kingdom. In a clip from Leto’s Instagram account, the actor eagerly rides the Tron Lightcycle Power Run rollercoaster and says, “I feel like I’m home.”

In preparation for Episode 9, Act II, launching on August 28, Riot Games has announced Vyse–the latest agent to join the Valorant roster. Many of her abilities focus on stunning enemies to get the upper hand.Like every other Agent, Vyse will have four primary abilities that she can use. The first is Arc Rose, allowing her to shoot or place down a rose that can blind anyone who goes through it–including teammates. What’s nice about this ability is that it can be picked up and redeployed. She also has Shear–a liquid-metal wall that’ll activate whenever an enemy crosses it. Once the wall is up, it’ll be indestructible for a few seconds, leaving whoever triggered it alone.

Borderlands 4 will launch on Steam and the Epic Games Store on PC–a pretty common occurrence for any big-name game. But, in this case, it’s notable for a couple of reasons. First, Borderlands 3 was a timed exclusive for the Epic Games Store. And secondly, Gearbox co-founder and president Randy Pitchford shared some strong words about Steam five years ago on social media.In April 2019, Pitchford believed that Steam could be “a dying store” in 5-10 years. This led to a viral post on X calling out Pitchford for his prediction, highlighting that Borderlands 4 will launch on Steam. Pitchford responded directly to this on the social media platform, stating that he could have been right if “if Epic successfully pressed its advantage.”

Save for that blissful half-hour of Silksong that I played back in E3 2019, Constance is, so far, the best Hollow Knight-like game I’ve ever played. It’s not exactly the same–Constance takes a page out of Splatoon’s book and features a main character that can wield dangerous purple paint and submerge into puddles in order to slink past enemies or obstacles or ascend up walls–but I couldn’t help but be reminded of my time spend in Hallownest. My time with the game was unfortunately quite short–I played a 20-minute Gamescom demo–but I adored what I saw of its quirky world and enjoyed how much the various designs of the robotic enemies and assortment of paint-based abilities shook up each combat encounter.
